I was glued to this book until the very end. The author managed to feed the reader just enough to keep them guessing, but not to reveal or give away too much about the ending. I haven't read a murder-mystery for a long time, I'm not usually a big fan. This one keep me interested as it was less predictable than books I've previously read. The draw of the main character (the Girl on the Train) and her growth & personal development as the story unfolds make for a very interesting ride. I couldn't help, but empathise with her and hope that the book would eventually turn her tragic situation into a positive one. Highly recommend this book. Anyone relating to the girl and her drinking habits should consider contacting AA.

This was a really good read/listen. The protagonist is complex (often unlikable) and there are many cringe-worthy moments but the pace is good and the mystery holds on well until the last chapters. Definitely recommend!

TGotT is a pretty decent book that is getting a lot of press lately. It's very much like Gone Girl - but better. It's going to make one hell of a movie someday. It's got a nice, simple mystery that wasn't overly difficult to figure out. At the same time, it was an interesting read. If you liked Gone Girl - but perhaps wanted a little less psycho bitch - this is your winner. Good, easy-to-enjoy fun. Perhaps a nice summer read in the upcoming months.

After reading long books with multiple narrators that took ages to finish, this short (and tough to put down, once the initial, slower portion was done) thriller with multiple narrators was a welcome bit of literary junk food. I definitely wouldn't put it on the same level with Gone Girl, but it is similar. A good read!

This was a page turner. I hated to put this suspense filled novel down. It is a little difficult to read as the chapters are in the first person and different times but hang in there by chapter 3 you will be hooked.

YES! Kept me guessing until nearly the very end and really surprised me! I was so certain I knew who the killer was when reading Rachel's part of the story, but man, was I wrong. Terrific, fast-paced and really fun.

A good read..there are a few twists that definitely throw you off the trail..as far as who did it...well done..as i got towards the end i wanted to read more and more...the first half, maybe a little slow...but it picked up steam as the who-done-it became less obvious

someone told me this was the new gone girl...didn't live up to that...but was an engaging quick read - full of twists.

In a book where the scene doesn't change much, a lot happens. I'm not one for mysteries but this one was hard to put down.

I did not enjoy this book. It felt like reading a second rate, "Gone Girl."

Fast-paced and suspenseful book, but a tad depressing for my taste.

The unreliable narrator gives false leads in a thriller. It's a fast read because you want to keep turning the pages.
